Coming Soon – Our New and Improved Windows 8 Mobile Payments App!
Mobile processing has always been a convenient way for our customers to be able to take payments anytime and anyplace
.  Before smartphones, merchants would need to lug around specialized and expensive wireless payment terminals – but that has been greatly simplified with today’s smartphones.
With the mobile ecosystems moving as fast as they are – MerchantPlus unfortunately had to pull our beloved Windows Phone 7 payment app from the Windows Tore several months ago.   Honestly, we just couldn’t keep up with the changes from Windows Phone 7.5 to 7.8 and then 8.0.   However, we’ve been committed to provide cross-platform mobile apps and supporting every mobile OS and we’re happy to announce that we will be rolling out a new and improved Windows Phone 8 (WP8) mobile payment app later this year.
Every day, we receive calls and live chats about mobile processing solutions and, surprisingly, Windows Phone 8 is our most popular request!  Realizing this, we redoubled our efforts, found the best Windows Phone devs out there and designed, from the ground up, a brand new and easy to use mobile payments app. We’ll be releasing the app before the end of the year.
Something else we learned with our previous WP7 offering was that our customers really needed a quick, convenient and low-cost way to accept payments on the go.  So, with our app, all you need to do is input the credit card information and hit submit – no dongle or card swiper necessary!   As always, you can still use the powerful NaviGate gateway platform to process cards through your eCommerce website, subscription billing platform or through our secure virtual terminal.
Last but not least, MerchantPlus will be rolling out a new “no fee†payment solution along with our new mobile apps. With no setup fees, instant activation, no monthly fees and a low, flat processing charge of 2.9% for credit cards, MerchantPlus is making it even easier to accept payments on the go, online and via the phone.
